Recommendations for Storage and Handling of Layflat Label Material Good layflat performance can be expected when label stock is converted in an environment where the temperature range is between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit (16 and 27 degrees Celsius) and the relative humidity is between 40% and 60%. The material should be allowed to acclimate to your facility's environmental conditions for three days before it is converted. Keep rolls off of concrete floors and away from any other sources of moisture contamination. Rotate your stock. Use oldest inventory first. Avoid long-term storage. For best results, material should be utilized by the end-user within six months of manufacture. INK JET and LASER products are recommended on 6 inch O.D. cores to minimize core related curl. Layflat is affected by small cores. Customer accepts responsibility of curl if taken on 3 inch cores.
